El Viejo is honored to have received the Certificate of Excellence by TripAdvisor four years in a row – from 2014 to 2017. A certificate that is given to restaurants that consistently receive great traveler reviews on TripAdvisor. Previously, we have also been recommended by the financial newspaper, Børsen.

Naturally, this gratifies us, but what matters to us is our customers own words about their experience at El Viejo Mexico, and we read every single restaurant review, we get.

Excellent service – Restaurant review

After TripAdvisor’s recommendation, we gave the place a visit. We were well received of smiling waitresses. The restaurant is nicely decorated, and the menu is tempting. We ordered nachos with beef, and they made the best version of it. After this, we had a nice crispy salt. As main course, we chose burritos. We will be back again.

Restaurant reviews – Copenhagen

A fantastic evening with good food. A truly charming place in the heart of Copenhagen. Nice food at a reasonable price. We had two different appetizers and three different main courses. Every single one of them was delightful and can be highly recommended. Furthermore, the service was the top. This will not be the last time, we visit.
